Kate Jones is a writer, performer, host, wedding officiant, stand-up comedian from New York City.  She is the voice of Michelle Nguyen in Welcome to Night Vale, and is a founding member of Degenerate Fox Theatre Company in London. She performed with the Neo-Futurists in Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Kate was in the television show The Big Quiz Thing, has been seen on Nickelodeon, on stage at Nerdnite New York, in the 2013 Providence Improv Festival and was a founding member of the Baltimore Improv Group. During undergrad, Kate studied Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at Webb Institute. Kate has used her holiday time to care for rescued elephants at the Elephant Nature Park. She is not certain she’d be able to design a boat that would manage safe transport for any living beings. She currently resides in Lausanne, Switzerland.
